Community School has the most beautiful campus, and the buildings and classrooms are great. Class sizes are small, with a maximum of 20 students in a class. With 3 required outdoor trips per year, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature and the outdoors. However, there is a lack of diversity, not only in the school but in the town of Sun Valley. All this being said, Community School is a great school and helps to prepare every student for college or wherever they want to go after high school.

The best school ever. I have learned so many important life skills and had experiences like no other.

I love how all of the students and teachers have such a tight connection with each other. The school shows learning in a different way, Instead of seating in a classroom every week from August to June; we have outdoor trips that help us become leaders and become comfortable in the outdoors.

My daughter's experience is wonderful! Very effective managing of her busy travel schedule, an ability to participate in Outdoor Education as well as some clubs and extracurricular activities and community involvement - all of those factors combined can be found at Community School.

I attended The Community School from 6-12th grade. Looking back I'm so grateful for the outdoor experience I gained from going here. I loved all of my teachers and the education I received. We DID have a lot of homework but I learned how to manage my time and organize my schedule. There was 27 kids...
