I would like to see more diversity in the school. I would like to see more guidance help for students to make sure they are prepared for graduation and college.

My time at North Gwinnett was quite interesting. Me being a young black student it sometimes was hard to thrive socially. The school is quite cliquey and some teachers and staff don't exactly seem to fond of African American students. This does not mean they were racist but it is a possibility. The academics are okay but there is a lot of opportunities for students to retake tests and quizzes which overall brings the school average up. I think that the staff needs to be background checked better before being hired because many students at the school dislike the current staff members. The school officers are great.

The Charge North program opened many opportunities for me. This school also offers many AP's and there are several pathway classes in humanities, stem, art, and other career fields. NGHS has a very large student body, and this is accompanied by immense traffic in the mornings.

On my daughter's first day of freshman year, when she got on the bus she was required to have a bus pass. Now I was with her on Open House and she went to Freshmen Orientation and nowhere did anyone mentioned how we needed to get a bus pass whatsoever. This has also happened to her friend who was on...

As a student that currently goes to this school I would say that it is one if the best schools in the state. I think the only rational negative thing I can think of is that there is a lit of academic competition. Meaning that it is very easy to get discouraged and depressed honestly. Literally after...

The school is decent but I want to talk to any parent of an athlete especially football. These coaches are not role models and do not care about the kids at all. The program is just a ploy to get money. The coaches have no desire to develop these boys and place demands on them although they have not...

I chose North when we moved to GA 14 years ago. As a parent two North kids, this school provides a fantastic education. My son graduated with honors and went on to UGA to also finish with honors. He was prepared thanks to the rigor of North. My daughter is about to enter her senior yearat North and...
