The teaching at my High School was enough for us all to graduate. Part of the problem when you come from such a small rural area is that the all of the teaching staff known you, your siblings/cousins, and your parents. Most of the teaching staff at my high school graduated from that school or another school in the surrounding area. Some of them went to school with my parents, cousins, etc. Which can sometimes lead to unpleasant consequences for both student and teacher.

Considering the size of my high school (which was extraordinarily small) the extra-curricular list was small, along with the limited funding the organizations received. Because of the limited time, space, and amount of students involved with multiple clubs/activities, all of the organizations were constantly competing with each other.

I personally would not want to go back to school here with the administration that I had. The reasons are multiple. I strongly disagree with many of the policy's and what was enforced and what was not. I also was concerned with where all of the money goes. The sports teams (which are for the most part only around average) get all of the money. But the music departments (My high school band has been in the top 3 in the state for the last 4-5 years) gets almost no money at all. All of the money that they get through their own fundraising. I also had a serious issue with the way that the academics are done. Many of the students do not seem to earn the grades that they get. The valedictorian of my class was taking several freshman level classes. That seems to me that she didn't earn the spot that she got.
