The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

My change for Talihina High School would be better food, and a better atmosphere. The food is not the best, the meals are prepared way too early, so by the time the high school students get to eat, it is already cold or stale. My other idea of change would be to brighten up the buildings,or have more school spirit. Most of the students could care less if the golden tigers win or lose a game . We don't get to enjoy pep-rallys anymore, because students do not care anymore.

I have had a wonderful experience at Talihina High School. Most classes are very informative and challenging to the students. If there was one thing I'd like to see change, it would be the technology. There's very limited technology throughout the school, with most of the computers being nearly as old as the teachers.

It was not a great experience. The teachers are not well qualified and sports are the main focus. The students are okay but the teachers give handouts to the students whose parents are on the school board. Favoritism is a huge thing here along with sports.
