Cornerstone Community School (CCS) provides residents of Tallmadge with a private, faith-based education option for students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The school, centrally-located just off Tallmadge Circle, incorporates smaller class sizes, a variety of engaging field trips and strong community involvement as the foundation for student growth—both academically and spiritually. Fantastic Fridays provide a unique opportunity for students to learn or try something new. The program offers a special weekly exploratory workshop environment where students can discover and develop their areas of giftedness. Additional programs include makerspace, visual and performing arts options in addition to music and foreign language instruction. The school's popular pre-kindergarten program works to develop self-discipline and individual responsibility and provides students with the skills to make proper choices, interact with fellow peers and use language in meaningful ways. The teaching approach at CCS takes into account personal learning styles and implements various approaches including visual, hands-on and small group activities.

We love Cornerstone Community School and have had our 4 kids enrolled there. The teachers are top-notch, professional, and care deeply about the kids. The administration is intentional about focusing on safety, bible teaching, and high-quality education.
