Overall, Tamaqua Area Senior Highschool is one of the better schools in the eastern Schuylkill County of Pennsylvania. They are fairly progressive on education and their ability to advance towards the betterment and optimization of treatment and fairness.

Personally I believe that it could use work here and there, but the school does rather well academically so it is only a few alterations that could be made. Overall the staff are rather motivated to help their students succeed, and the academic program overall has a varied range of studies for students to pursue.

Tamaqua is a well developed school but as any district, has It's problems. Many students are unfocused. Some teachers do not teach you the material as others will teach you more than you need to know. Technology is I'm major need of upgrading and is in need of a librarian.
