GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, Wharton High School is a very good school and great for the full high school experience. It had many fun events throughout the year that I was able to make many good memories. Also, most teachers are motivated to teach and seem to enjoy helping students learn and grow which is really important for a students' education.

I had a good experience at Wharton but I didn't feel very safe because it wasn't very secured. When I was a student there, the gates were never closed so anyone could leave and come one to the campus, which made me a bit nervous.

It is a good school, it could be better though it needs people who care about it and that are up to put in the work to make the school a good environment and to make the programs better; I think that some of the people who are in charge of the programs don't care much and that is why a lot of students don't have a good experience;
