GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school itself is full of pride and spirit. My experience here has been great. The teachers are excellent through every situation.

There is not many options to choose from and the menu is repeated from week to week so it feels like you are having the same thing over and over again. The lunch times are super early in the day so by 1:30 or so you are hungry again and there is no snack option for you. There are no dietary accommodations for anyone, if you can't eat what is being survived then you bring your own lunch from home or you don't eat. There is only one option for a healthy option and that is the salad bar, but all the salads are pre-made so you don't get much. The food is very poor and aren't served very much and proper amounts.

The school did prepare me for what was coming in college for the most part, but I did do most of my of my research for after high school by myself with not much help from my counselor. I did have other teachers that were willing to help me when I was having trouble finding some information. In my experience in high school is you are needing the help just ask and that teacher will go the extra mile to help you find out what you need to know.
