Good: Super diverse community, make new friends and meet people, opportunities to meet colleges, brand new building Bad: Admin does not handle fights/bullying/harassment, 2 accounts of teacher and student relationships, teacher can not teach and are bad (especially math and science classes),

Tartan is a very diverse school where kids can easily make friends, a downside is that some of the students are very rowdy and can clog the hallways when getting to class, the administrators and teachers always make sure that you have everything you need to pass the class. And when it's ACT season, they school will open practice rooms so that the students can have a better chance at getting a higher score.

some teachers were fantastic and wanted the students to succeed but administration was not great and made it difficult for the good teachers to help students. Bathroom passes were often taken away as form of punishment from administration but all this did was punish the good students who did follow the rules.

Average school. Never had a bad teacher, they have all been helpful and nice. I wish there was more strictness with misbehavior and more courses/ help with after high school steps/ careers.

While not the best it could be worse. The issues with drugs and violence are increasing and nothing is being done about it. Teachers will turn a blind eye to bullying, while students are openly vaping and selling drugs. Students also use slurs as if there is never any consequences because teachers o...

This is my child's first year attending this school and let me say, I do not recommend it. While attending one of his football games I witnessed about three fist fights that happened between students in the crowd and other kids who were vaping and selling vapes right in the open. This was mentioned...
