It is an okay school there is a good amount of diversity, fights are very often, and teachers are ok it seems to depend on who you have some are awesome and some are the opposite.

In my personal view of the school, I thought Taunton High School was overall an easily forgettable experience. Nothing really stuck out to me and I could never really say I enjoyed going to school ever. I do however loved the art programs there and I wish there was more funding in those departments rather than the sports department that can barely win any games. the atmosphere is dangerous and miserable and administration really doesn't care too much about students unless it escalates into a dangerous situation like a fight.

Life at THS is pretty split. I've never been to any other high school, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, the teachers who are great are amazing, and the teachers who aren't as great are just kind of like the bottom 25% I suppose. The food is a bit hit or miss, it has gotten a bit better in recent years though. The people are fairly diverse with lots of different backgrounds and home lives, and the school is large enough that if you really don't like someone, then you don't have to see them. The teachers I've met have really tried to make their classrooms an accepting and open environment that welcomes discussion. They also try to be there for their students however they can, which I greatly appreciate. While the days can drag on, in my experience I've had more good days than bad.

A lot of AP classes are offered, but not for the 8th graders. If you're in honors classes, the students are well-behaved, but otherwise I would not recommend. Great support for mental health if you have an IEP. And you can get into a great college from here.

My kids have done very well at THS. Look at the number of students attending Ivy League Schools next year! Very Impressive!
