GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The music program at my school is great and the teachers are amazing at their jobs and just great people to talk to in general. The music program is the best thing at my school by far. The worst part of our school is the classes are typically boring and are not engaging.

ACHS has very few staff who actually care about children and teaching them. My experience with most teachers at the school were that they were only there for a check. Administration is even worse, they treat the students like children, but give extreme punishments when they do not act like adults. The quality of education was low compared to that of peers I met in college. I took the highest level courses offered by the school, and was still behind college classmates who had way worse highschool GPAs than mine. .

Such a great environment with teachers who really care about students' success. The campus is very big and pretty with space to walk around or have study hall. ACHS's Cohort class is by far my favorite thing about the school. We take CVCC classes with 24 other cohort students at AC and take our path on completing the first year of an Associate in Arts degree.
