The best experience that I had at school was my trips for our fine arts department. I would say that our school has a good academic program. I would say some things that can be improved upon is our school size, and the timing of everything in our school is not the best.

Tea Area High School is a smaller school on the southwest side of the biggest cities in South Dakota. It began as a school district in 2003 so it is only 20 years old. In that time the school has grown too over 2,000 students. We currently hav three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school with an expansion in the works. Tea Area has excelled at sporting events, music, and arts. Tea is a great school that has teachers who care for you like family. The community of Tea is home to many small town "transplants" so that small town feel is very much still alive.

Tea is full of many opportunities. I was lucky enough to be apart of many of them, and make plenty of memories through my High School Year. Tea also has some rough edges. For instance, the food and some of the faculty is interesting. Whereas the sports programs and the academics side of things are growing tremendously.
