My experience was decent. rules and codes are never set in stone and can be ignored if it has to do with a student that particular staff member takes a liking to.

Telstar has amazing teachers and administration who want o better the school and students. What Telstar lacks itsn't heart but funds and students numbers. Our sports and activities are rated poor because we do not receive the funding to make these programs great. Our staff is working very hard everyday to makes opportunities for us happen even though it is a difficult task. It is a good school but need more kids and funding to be able to support its students in the best possible way.

Telstar is a very small close knit school. There are so many different opportunities that Telstar can give you. That is a good part of being a small school, there are so many different ways to get help with the things you need. Everyone here is like a family and we all take care of each other, yes we all argue and disagree but, we are good at the end of the day. There is always someone there to help you when you fall. When you need help with anything there is always a teacher there to help you. All you need to do is ask. My overall experience at Telstar was amazing, this school really made my years of middle and high school the best they possibly could be.

Telstar High School Is awesome the student to teacher relationship is great, the principle and the dean of students are in the building daily. Telstar has recently installed a new heating/circulatory system. I highly recommend Telstar Regional High School for anyone moving to the Bethel area.

The superintendent intends to make this the Bethel School District no matter what the community wants. His schools (the Bethel schools) have a surplus of funds yet Andover and Woodstock have to fight every year just to stay open. Both the Telstar teachers and the building is dated. Very few electives are offered. If you are AP/honors or special education you get all the support you need, otherwise fend for yourself. For a small school, more should be expected from teachers who contiune to lecture most of the time.
