This school's location is comical.. next to an airport and a tiny campus if you can even call it that.. many kids have an inferiority complex since most of them are BA rejects (my kid included if I'm being honest). My daughter went to a decent college coming out of this school but honestly, I think she would've enjoyed her high school life much more had she gone to a different school and possibly to a better college..

Overall, BT has been pretty great. There are a decent amount of electives to choose from and there is a heavy focus on academics. It is harder to stay connected to others however, considering that it is a magnet school.

Bergen County Technical High School consists of a student boy from 70 different municipalities throughout the county. The diverse student body introduced me to several different cultures and their traditions. I enjoyed becoming friends with students I would not have known if I attended school within district.

I am so proud to have a daughter at a school that is both academically rigorous AND sensitized to the development of our children. Clearly, this is a school with a conscientious leader at its helm (Tankard) and a competent support staff. I am looking forward to seeing my daughter's continued growth...
