As a current parent, I can say that the school has been incredibly supportive of my son's individual needs. He has already bonded and created amazing friendships that I believe will last a lifetime. He enjoys school and adores, respects and turns to his teachers. I couldn't ask for a more amazing experience for my son.

This school has been a perfect experience for my child. The best K-9 boys school not only in New York, but in the world. I have sent my children through this school and so have all my friends, as we know they will be successful in life thanks to Buckley

I didn't enjoy or hate my time at Buckley. Did I hate it? Looking back, no, however, would I send my kid there? No. The place does not care for students' mental well-being or their safety, and while they pile the work until students drown, it is excellent preparation, which is what Buckley is all about at the end of the day. Many of my classmates now attend prestigious high schools like Exeter or Hotchkiss. So it is a trade-off: Suffer through middle school so that you can succeed in high school.

Buckley is terrible academically-sports eats up half of every day's schedule. If the school was ever any good it is no longer...mostly sibs and legs so not always the sharpest kids.

Buckley is a great school but not for everyone. The traditional part is that every boy: 1. must play a sport 2. must be in the school play each year 3. must participate in public speaking We find this GREAT bc it builds character and forms a cohesive student body that extends well into adulthood.
