GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have had a lot of great opportunities through The Dalles High School and I know that I will have many more as I am only a sophomore. There is so many things to help you advance academically and personally.

Staff is outstanding, the sports programs are growing. The only thing that is preventing this from being 5 starts is the building and facilities. They are old and unsafe.

The high school has many different opportunities for students. There is a wide range of classes to choose from, you are able to dual-enroll, and there are many extracurricular activities which keep students involved outside of the classrooms. One thing that our high school could improve upon is the facility itself. The school is very outdated and could use a remodel.
