Mead is unlike any other school. 50 years of progressive education and the staff and culture is so caring and supportive. My kids have thrived and gained confidence in their passions and abilities! Love!!!

Almost a cult-like vibe at this school, but good for kids who need social and emotional support. I believe in progressive education, but there are better options. I guess many agree as Mead is on the verge of going out of business.

Mead has overcommitted and underdelivered with their Nexus program. My child's class had only one neurotypical child. The rest were students with autism and/or ADHD who were not getting the support they needed. There were regular behavior issues that the teachers were not trained to handle and many...

Mead underwent a transformation over the past 5 years. Teachers codified their curriculum in a way that made it more accessible and understandable to parents, embraced new tools, and communication among parents, faculty and administration has greatly improved. At the time for my child’s emotional growth was the most impt. But we need to remember that but he goes to school is for learning.
