Even if some teachers are not good enough, The school is good overall. If you have not got too much expectations from your school, this school will be enough for you.

Facilities are excellent for a small school. The black box theater and art studio are particularly great. The outdoor spaces allow students space to eat lunch outside when the weather is nice. The school is well-maintained.

Steve, the high school director is incredible. You can walk into Steve, Joan (the school administrator) or John's (the Head Master) offices any time, and chat about academics, social life or anything else. There is a very open dialogue between students and teachers, which is essential to the success of the school. This communication allows any issues with bulling or anything, to be identified and dealt with fairly.

It meets the kids where they are at. The small class sizes and teacher access were extremely helpful for our son. TN...

The New School is very different from other private schools in the area. It is non-profit and has a clientele of quirky students who didn't fit in well in the generally excellent public schools. Two of our kids who were amazing students until they crashed into the wall of anxiety and depression in e...
