The Oakridge School has been one of my best school transitions. I am an international student and having such a drastic change of a school and country really took a toll on me. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful at all times, the only negative would be to create more facilities for lunch since its shared with the gym.

Oakridge was the perfect choice for my children. We felt it the moment we entered the beautiful campus and we knew it once we met with the administrators, teachers and students. The academic challenge is impressive but even more so is the Oakridge community that supported, nurtured and guided my son and daughter every step of the way. They graduated with the confidence and direction that they needed to become successful not only in college but in their adult lives as well.

The school does a good job of preparing its students for college while also allowing the students to choose what courses they would like to take in order to follow their desired paths.

Whitewashed history starting in 4th grade. There is little racial education in this school. Keep in mind that this school is also extremely racially stratified. Maybe 10% of the kids are non-white. I am Student Body President of The Oakridge School and I feel so supported by faculty and students. The environment is so welcoming and I feel genuinely appreciated here. Oakridge grows more and more every year and prioritizes student input. This is a school of opportunity and family.
