When I think of The Phelps School I think of being one big family. I had the privilege to attend Phelps as a high school student for three years. During those three years I was able to meet so many different people from all over the world and it is truly an honor to call them my brothers. The faculty and teachers at Phelps truly care about you as if you were one of their own sons. I had about three mothers on campus that I talked with on the daily. The relationships between the teachers and students what makes Phelps stand out from all the other boarding schools. Now I am giving back to Phelps by helping the boys here by sharing my experiences with them when I was a student. It is an honor to help these young boys and turn them into men. I am part of a very small group of Phelps alums who can say they have seen both sides. Phelps is all about changing lives for the better. I am proud to have that opportunity to lead these young men to greatness.

My son attended the Phelps junior year and will be continue as a senior there. I can only say a great thing about the school. It's helped my son to become mature young adult, improved his academic level and basketball skills. Teachers (Dr. Hasler, Mr. Birtch, Mr. Newby, Mr. Corcoran, Mr. DiCioccio)...

The staff and basketball coaches are extremely invested in our son's development. They have played a pivotal role in his student-athlete development. More importantly, the environment has also placed high importance on the development of his character and leadership skills.

Phelps makes a concerted effort to know students as individuals and seek to cultivate in them the needed skills to both be a successful student here and as they pursue higher education. Staff genuinely care about the students and the boarding school culture allows them to know students personally ou...
