I joined thomas jefferson my junior year and have loved my experience that year and including my last year here. I chose to go to public school my last 2 years of highschool to gain some socialness in my life and that has definitely made a difference. i've had great relationships with many of my teachers and counselors and am beyond grateful because they have been very understanding and patient with me. I have been involved as much as i can, while dealing with a lot of stress and home life. i've stayed after school and been apart of credit recovery for my junior year and made up missing credits in 2 months after realizing i didn't have any after not going to school my sophomore year because of my father passing. Thomas jefferson has pushed me to be the best i can be while trying to make sure i graduate on time and am passing my classes even when i have trouble with them. This highschool is extremely welcoming and makes sure everyone is involved somehow.

Very diverse school, culture is a big thing here and you can always feel represented. The school is accommodating and flexible.

I entered TJHS right after a full year online, not only did they (administration) manage to merge such a turbulent time into a more normal version of high school, but they also didn't allow any stigma to follow through. Making me extremely grateful toward the schools efforts.

I can't say that I'm surprised with the lower test scores. This is in Federal Way School district. The area here is very diverse. Along with ethnic diversity, there are many other diversities to take into consideration. Many of these aren't conducive to academic learning. My daughter just transferre...

The TJ experience was great. Teachers (especially math) were professional and helpful but required assignment completions. They even offered our son after hours and weekend support with groups of students. Running Start was a great opportunity and well monitored.
