I went there a few years ago for middle school. My grade at least was really bad so I think it drove off a lot of teachers. We had four different math teachers one year and another year we had 5 different science teachers. Also they make a big deal about teaching at your level and so you'll get moved around based off of that when your are first introduced to the school but that never happened. In addition they are technically classified as a gifted school but they did nothing for the gifted and there's more siblings of gifted than actually gifted. Another thing is it felt like the high school part of the school was the highest priority and the rest was second thought. We also had to deal with these ancient computers will the little kids got fancy touch screens.

Run! Far away. This is not a gifted and talented school. They do not require testing to get in as most gifted and talented schools do. This is a special education school.

They provide a holistic approach to learning in a small class room environment. There is an opportunity for better guidance and preparation for senior students.

We are very happy with Westgate! We have a fourth grader, gifted, who has had a positive experience since kindergarten. He has great friends and loves going to school - a huge win. Also, Ms. Hamilton in 1st grade just won Teacher of the Year! No small recognition. She is a testament to the solid lea...

Ok. Westgate has a lot of improvement to make. After 3 years here, we are moving on. There are some teachers who are amazing and others, not so much. The administration, starting at the top, needs major improvement. Lack of awareness, inability to handle certain tasks correctly, putting students saf...

Westgate has been a fantastic experience for my kids. They are each treated as individuals and their unique interests and learning styles are respected and encouraged. My kids have built strong bonds with the teachers and staff and are greeted each day by name with a smile. We love the opportunities...

Westgate has been a great school for our family. Our kids have made friends, and are excited about some of the projects they're working on. We're also so grateful that they have a real nurse. Most schools just have office staff that can give medication but don't actually have a nurse. This makes all...
