Some teachers put in the effort and make learning a great experience. However due to a small budget and small population the school's academics are lacking. No AP classes available and guidance can be self-guided.

There is a large FFA department at Thorp high, I would not be afraid it is one of the best in central Wisconsin. The FBLA department is fairly productive and has many members as well. Along with a spike in interest in the music department within the last 5 years. The male sports need work, lack of competitiveness and coaching have hurt in the past. While the female teams are on a definite upward trend.

The majority of our teachers are great. Our Algebra teacher is always open to helping students. The chemistry teacher somehow made her class interesting to kids like me who don't even like chemistry that much. The teachers are, overall, open to extra credit and helping kids succeed in their class. Some of them tend to burn out a little more as the year goes on.

My daughter attended this school for 8 years and the bullying is horrible the teachers are part of it sometimes. The school big click because there are a lot of parents that work and coach at the school so if you don't have the name or the money don't expect playtime or teachers help. I would recomm...

All my children attended this school and we left the district by the time our youngest was in high school. The disrespect and disruptions that were allowed in the classroom were very discouraging. Students who had parents employed by the district were some of the worse. Very behind especially in the...
