I've been at TMI for around half a year now. I came from an all-boys middle school and feel that the transition to high school here was very smooth. I love the variety of classes that I can take, and I feel that the teachers around me truly want me to succeed and work with me to be the best I can in whatever course I am taking. I am also involved in athletics and love the support of the coaches around me and the ability to play multiple team sports. My experience here has been great overall.

1000 words not adequate - my son has flourished here and found friendship, challenge, kindness, excellence, and joy through the Corps, athletics, service learning, amazing classes taught by phenomenal teachers who are truly passionate about their subjects, incredible life lessons through daily chapel with the kindest man in the world, Father Ben, caring and compassionate administrators like Liz Sanderson and Janna Clements - it is the best thing in his life. I don't know where he'd be without the community he has in TMI. The school is breathtaking. Best sunsets in the world at a Friday night football game with the cadets cheering on the players. So grateful to have found this place.

You can definitely tell this is a school for problem child’s. I had to pull my daughter out for many reasons, unfortunately a very toxic culture is embedded. But at the end of the day it’s just business to them.

We transferred to TMI from another private school in San Antonio. I would say TMI is a good, rigorous school. The teachers are passionate about their subjects and encouraging to their students. We love the STEM classes they offer. The math department is top notch.
