Overall I have really enjoyed my experience at Tolar. I am in many extra curriculars such as debate, cheer, and UIL, all of which I loved throughout my high school career. While I love the teachers and staff, I would love to see change in the pay for teachers. Each year we have so many teachers that people loved leave because another school will pay them better. Tolar should reevaluate how the governments budget for our school is spent.

Everyone knows everyone in this school. It is a nice small town that anyone can easily fit into. I believe there needs to be more activities due to the fact that the only thing they offer for extra curricular's revolve around sports. The teachers are amazing and help everyone succeed .

Tolar is a small 2a school with a lot of diversity and culture. Tolar has a variety of different classes and programs to put you on the right path to success. There are many opportunities in Tolar, the education is great and very hands-on, the sports are fun and exiting, and we have a strong agriculture program. Due to the small size of Tolar, everyone can be very involved in the classroom. Overall, Tolar is a fun, safe place for every student, athlete, and teacher.

Tolar High seems to operate under the influence of long-standing relationships and local politics, which significantly affects the school's atmosphere and fairness. Students who have lived in Tolar their whole lives, or whose parents own businesses in town or have family members on the board/adminis...

I would HIGHLY recommend Tolar Elementary. We moved out of state and my daughter tells me almost every day how much she misses her school and her teacher. We unfortunately move a lot and this is by far the best school I have every come across. (Her eldest sibling has already graduated.) I was so imp...
