As a veteran teacher here in Arizona and at Hurley Ranch, I find some of these reviews to be overly harsh towards the adults on campus. It would not be honest of me if I claimed the school nearly perfect. We do have struggles on a daily basis. Some situations require minor interventions while there...

This school was truly the most awful experience I ever had, not just in teaching, but my entire life. I am a skilled teacher, and I taught in some very rough schools, but nothing compares to Hurley Ranch. Students are allowed to fight, bully, throw chairs, assault other students, staff, and teachers...

If you thought the old principal was bad just wait until you meet the new one! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE!! TERRIBLE!!!It's always everyone else's fault but hers. I'm sorry I thought you were the PRINCIPLE! Are you not in charge? Take some responsibility for crying out loud. Kids get in fights all the time....

This has to be one of the worst schools in Arizona. Through my experience the students have this fighting initiation that occurs if you want to be a student there. Your child is most likely is going to decline from their start date to the last date there. This school will mentally break your child....
