Lakewood is an outstanding school. The administration, counselor, teachers, paras, custodians, and the pto members are exceptional people. Caring and highly educated staff members that are always willing to go above what is needed to help the students be successful. Seems the only downside is the high enrollment, they need more staff members. Teachers and Paras.

The school did nothing about trying to test my child from when the teacher mentioned this in September, until I pushed and pushed and finally got the principal in February. Love the school! My son moved here from HISD and absolutely love Lakewood! We are grateful for his virtual and in person teacher! You can definitely see the pride and effort the teacher put into this year.

My kids went here for 2nd grade. The staff is great and the curriculum is just okay. Was wanting something more advanced more challenging

Teachers are vindictive and can act out against you with the protection of the principal. Your opinion as a parent is null and void and the teachers will even tell you how to raise your children.
