GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Tonkawa High School is a little school where everyone knows and loves everyone. Tonkawa is a great school because their are great safety precautions, like on-campus cops, and many fun activity's to do. They also have great teachers and help for academics, they always have time to help you. There isn't really anything bad at Tonkawa, the only bad thing about it is just the same as any high school. Sometimes there's drama, but not often.

I liked how welcomed I was when we moved my sophomore year, but I would like the administration to consider cheerleading a sport as well as the principle to not make decisions based on how it will make him look. The principle also needs to greet people just a little nicer.

There are a majority of teachers who care about the students, and about said students learning the material. However, there are also a select few teachers who don't take the time and effort needed to properly teach their students.

I would give it a 4 out of 5, it is a pretty small school, but the students there are really nice to each another and the school work are hard at first, but will become like piece of pie after learning about it for 1 month.
