I attended State Street in 1959 and it was a very good school. Later in the mid 1970's -1980's my two sons attended and it was a good school with caring teachers.

This is a architecturally beautiful school, and there are some great staff and teachers.... BUT there is a LARGE tendency to blame parents for children not making the grade, no matter how much time is spent with them after school hours. There have been 3 principals in 3 years, and this year they did...

This is a great school to send your child/ren. They make the grade and the help the kids get there. With all the wonderful programs that they offer they help to make great kids come out of the school.

I don't think that there is a better school in Topeka. The teachers are wonderful they take the time to make sure that your children understand. There are many before and after school clubs that keep your student active and making better choices for themselves. If you want a great school with teache...
