Travelers Rest is not a very well funded school. This, in turn, has lead to a low academic and fine arts performance and participation. It is not a high school you attend if you want to further your athletic career. There is very low school spirit and participation. Academically, it is not rigorous, which leaves students feeling blind-sided when reaching a collegian level academically. On the other hand, safety is a priority, and the school is very clean.

It was really great and very educational. I enjoyed my 4 years there with all the compassionate people and friends I made along the way.

I had an overall good experience going to high school here. It is a close knit community and it is evident that many students have a history with each other and close family connections. The location of the school was very safe.

We’ve had two children go through Travelers Rest High School, and we couldn’t be happier with the education they received.Both of our kids were able to take full advantage of the AP and IB course offerings, and the school went above and beyond to make sure they had the support they needed to succeed...

Great improvements with TRHS over the last few years. Greater student engagement due to more student activities. Music program is an A+ level program in the state.

The teachers have favorites and so do the admin and are not fair in punishments
