Most teachers are the most loving, dedicated people you'll ever meet, but there are some here that just ruin learning for students.

Parents are a little intense at Tri-High especially when it comes to sports. There are a lot of mind-games played by parents and a large percentage of the parents here are somewhat two-faced. I believe it is a major accomplishment to survive four years of high school athletics with the parents that are unnecessarily involved with the athletic programs. Stress levels are also frequently high at this school due to workloads but sometimes teachers are willing to work with you in this aspect.

The staff does the best that they can. Some parents though do not monitor their kids enough on the weekends.

I could not be happier with Tri-Valley schools at all levels. Eventhough they are a small school, they consistently outperform the other schools in the county, even the much larger Unit 5 & District 87. Parental involvement is exceptional. Tri-Valley is not diverse-mostly white/non-Hispanic wealthy families. In an ever growing global world, living and learning in a diverse environment would be of great value to any student.
