Trinidad High School is a tiny 1A school that doesn't have much to offer. Some of the teachers there weren't even qualified to teach half the things they were trying to teach. The education system there is very poor. During most of my classes at Trinidad, the teachers wouldn't do actual assignments. They would put passing grades down for everyone wither they deserved it or not. The extraarticular activities were ok. there wasn't many options to choose from, but that's to be expected from a 1A school district.

Trinidad seems to be making a strong push o become the leader in Henderson County for quality education. Small school but the best in the area. Staff cares for your kids and they have the best theater program in the state. Literally Ms. Tart and Justin Prnka led the One Act Play to State and won.

My kids go to Trinidad but I wish it were not so. The school is tiny and typically you would expect with a low student to teacher ratio to see outstanding test scores, but here you do not. This school has made an amazing turn around. I have never seen a Principle invest so much time and effort into the students. We have an amazing set of teachers, staff and volunteers.
