GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall if I had to give a review about Trumann it'd be a below average school. The school is good at masking everything wrong with our school, with new add-ons like a brand new football facility. Our school is known for not being able to keep any good teachers, and the one's they manage to keep are either only there, because nobody else would hire them, or they just loved the kids to much to quit on them. The saftey there has gotten better, due to the fact that we have cameras in our class rooms. Other than those things the school keeps a decent sense on tradition, and can be super fun at times. My overall ranking for Trumann Highschool is a 5/10.

Trumann High School is a very loving and protecting school district overall. The school cares about each students safety and their academic advances. There are some things that would be lovely to see changed but everything that Trumann has been doing shows good character.

I came from a school that was strictly pencil and paper, and then I moved here and it was alot of change.

Half the teachers think they own the place just because they have certain degrees. They don’t really teach and it’s all about who you know based on how much someone likes you. Front office is RUDE!!!!

Trumann is slow on reacting with student problems. I'm glad I moved my children away. Horrible dramatic school. Bad atmosphere. Rude front office staff.

I have raised three children in this school district and have seen the struggles it has had; however, I have also witnessed school improvement. Trumann may have had a bad reputation but is working its way up. We now have a school that has moved on with the times by providing personal computers for e...
