Tucker Middle School (TMS) hosts six through eighth graders in the district. All of the area’s five elementary schools feed into this International Baccalaureate middle school, which offers the Middle Years Programme curriculum. In addition, Tucker Middle provides an innovative STEM program that integrates science, technology, engineering and math, preparing kids by teaching real-world applications of these key principles.
The school also has a high achiever program for students who qualify in addition to foreign language classes in French, Spanish and German. Tucker Middle students are winners in the classroom and on the athletic field. Just a few of the academic honors the school has earned include county and state science fair winners, county and regional Reading Bowl winners and more. The robotics team has also won multiple awards, even including a few in international competitions.
When it comes to athletics, the Tucker Tigers take the field in football and basketball along with the TMS cheerleading squad and the diamond divas dance team, winning county championships along the way. With a broad range of extracurricular activities and excellent academics, Tucker Middle School prepares middle schoolers for success in high school and beyond.
