With a mission to teach children to learn, lead and succeed, Centennial Elementary serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through sixth grade as a public school in the Flowing Wells School District in Tucson.
Here, the teachers strive to instill personal responsibility and integrity and help students succeed within a rigorous curriculum. Most notably, Centennial students consistently earn test scores in reading and math well above the district and state averages, and the school often ranks in the top 20% of all elementary schools in Arizona.
In addition to core subjects, the school puts extra emphasis on its music program which encourages students in four performing groups including band, orchestra, guitar and after-school choir. Throughout the year, students can perform at multiple events at the school and district levels to show off their vocal and musical talents.
As for extracurriculars, students can gain Centennial Coyote spirit competing in several intramural sports from flag football and soccer to basketball and Wiffle ball. In addition, the school also participates in Skills for Success, the district’s extended-day program where students can benefit from tutoring, develop digital literacy or explore real-world experiences on after-school field trips.

My daughter has flourished since attending this school, 2nd grade, after leaving a local charter school, K-1st. She doesn't seem as drained or stressed out. The teacher has great communication so far and her principal has an open door policy.

I love this school!! We are moving shortly and I hate the thought of leaving this amazing school. Teachers and staff are all great, I have yet to meet an individual I wouldn't invite to dinner.
