And on the creative front, City High School offers arts electives in creative writing, drama, guitar, studio art and digital media to engage creativity in all areas of discourse. When it comes to overall student well-being, the school elevates the importance of personal health with fitness courses in bicycling, dance and yoga. Plus, students can participate in health and wellness courses as well as a restorative practice program that teaches students ever-important conflict-resolutions skills. And among the cornerstones of students’ education at are student-led conferences — where students give presentations about their progress to parents, peers and teachers — and exhibitions that expand their presentations to include members of the community. Throughout their education at City High School, students can achieve personal milestones that will set themselves up for success every day.

I like how the school is very scholar-oriented. The teachers care about the scholars more than other schools and welcomes students no matter where they come from. There is a limited amount of students allowed in, so it's a small school, but that makes it a better community because everybody can get to know each other

We love City High! Our daughter is thriving there and has made many friends. Their approach to learning is excellent and the after-school Voices program is great. They offer so many choices.

This school is an excellent environment for students who are less comfortable in a mainstream public high school. There's an emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, and student's respectful treatment of each other. The small class sizes and personable, caring staff create a sense of community. St...
