The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

East Clarendon Middle High school has been my home for grades 6-12. There are many positives as well as negatives to our school. The food isn't great but what school food is. Things that could use improvement include the safety of the school as well as the amount of clubs and organizations. Our school is small which limits the abilities of students and teachers. However overall I've received a decent education and had both good and bad teachers. I believe the school did prepare me for college and would overall recommend to others.

I mostly enjoyed how the teachers taught; it wasn't boring or overwhelming. They got the lesson taught and done.

Personally I had an amazing experience attending high school at East Clarendon. All of the teachers are really nice and easy to get along with. I've never had a teacher that didn't help me when I needed it. The other students are pretty welcoming as well.
