GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved that they got me ahead in my college career. The only thing I would like to change would be to convince the government to give them more money so we can take more than just 12 credits a semester.

I was able to start my college experience a lot earlier than the rest of my peers. Great Lakes Bay Early College helped me grow into a better person, meet my best friends, and grant me opportunities my previous school would not have been able to.

I loved GLBEC. This program opened up my eyes since I came from a small school with no diversity or academic challenges. The teachers here are excellent. They really care about their students. They tell you as it is and make sure you are truly prepared to go out in the university. This school opened so many doors for me to continue on with my education and they gave me a good foundation for me to do well in college.

Parent involvement has been slim to none since it began 3 years ago. 2. Very limited communication to parents...

I was reluctant to apply at first because I did not want to leave high school and all my friends, but after attending an informational meeting, I decided it was an opportunity I could not let pass me by. The...
