Gesu Catholic School is a University Heights private, faith-based school that teaches kindergarten through eighth grade students. Opening in 1926, the school has been a staple of University Heights, serving about 625 students yearly.
The school offers a wide curriculum of studies, ranging from world languages and art to robotics and computer programming.
The campus has a playground for student recess. Enrichment programs include a career day, author visits, video broadcasting, chess club and tech camp.
There is also an opportunity for students to participate in the school’s band and music program, which puts on two concerts a year for parents.
The school offers both day care and extended after-school day care services for parents and their children.

They teach the children how to be disrespectful. They teach kids it is ok to make fun of people on how look and they body shame people. They teachers don't let us say our opinion. They are rude and go way to far in the kids personally life. Their bathrooms are gross and in the classrooms there are ants everywhere. They also give us to much homework which makes things way more stressful They are against many things and don't let anyone speak our voice. I don't recommend going here unless you want your kid to grow up and be a brat and say mean comments about others.

The air conditioner never works, the lunch is so bad and very expensive, the recess people are rude, the bathrooms are disgusting , I do not recommend this school.

Overall a pretty average Catholic school. Too traditional and doesn’t challenge you. Used to be a good school but not really anymore. Has a STREAM (basically STEM) center but older students don’t really use it. Recommend it to people but be careful!!

My children are very happy at Gesu. They have many wonderful friends and the community is extremely supportive and welcoming. Their faith has grown and is seen in everyday learning and behavior.
