Opened in 1878, the University of Liggett School is the oldest private and secular co-educational school in the state of Michigan. Serving the community of Grosse Pointe Woods, the University of Liggett School also represents 60 zip codes across Southeastern Michigan and is dedicated to offering an outstanding education to over 600 preschool through 12th grade students.

Terrible. Kid spent 2nd grade to 8th. Adopted child that needed a little more attention which we were supposedly going to get. One would expect to get for $25k a year. Then told with a month left in 8th grade that they were not offering her a spot in 9th grade. They were going to tell her without consulting us but we got wind of it. How do they not know that quite a bit earlier if they are a private school and in tune with their students. Should have been told that in 7th grade so she could do better or we could prepare for the change.
