My experience at Curtis Senior high has been an overall fantastic one regarding everything this school has to offer. The teachers are very well educated regarding what they teach some of them are very helpful and some are'nt.Its a wide variety of education, this school does truly teach you a lot about being ready in your future career. They also have an amazing sports program and they are all very much successful. One thing I don't like is we don't have a lot of opportunities to have fun or maybe going to actual college campuses like no trips anywhere and if they do actually do that then they need to be more open and making announcements towards going to colleges. What I would like to see change is how they do pep assembly's they need to me more up-beat and interesting not just little activities that we have to sit through.Overall the schools good, the teachers are fairly good as well and all the opportunities that we are given are awesome.

Curtis Senior High School is really nice school. It is very diverse and i am able to get along with some people that have different backgrounds, are different races, and different cultures. The teachers are very kind and helpful, i feel like i can go up to my teachers and ask the questions freely. I haven't joined many clubs, but the ones i did join were very enjoyable to be in as well as the sports such as basketball. My overall experience with Curtis was enjoyable and if i would to experience high school again, i would do it at Curtis.

The addition of both AP and college in the classroom classes really help challenge students and prepare them for colleges. They have both great and okay teachers, but always ask senior students about different teachers and the classes. Many sports teams have strong members and area passionate. I would love to see more hands on classes like fabrication for those who want to go more trades and get more ideas of what students want to work for.

Short version: The school is great. Above average in many things. Teachers are all really nice, the classroom is conducive to learning, the subjects are all mildly interesting at worst. I don’t have many complaints, other than maybe the cafeteria food, but thats what you get at a public high school,...

Our son completed his sophomore year here. The Band program was outstanding. While we did run into cliquish/bullying issues in the younger schools (Drum Intermediate), we didn't see any issues with our high school son who is a little socially awkward. Academics seem rigorous and athletics are smooth...

Investment by the city. The teachers and curriculum are above national standards. My child has been in the district from kindergarten and I highly recommend the district.
