The teachers were very organized and had all of our school work prepared months in advance so that when we were required to travel for ski camps and competitions, we were prepared and ready to be on top of our school work. The only thing that id like to see change is the student accountability. What i mean by that, is for students to be more responsible, and take school more seriously.

I love that I get to do what I love every single day: ski race. The school is full of high level athletes, all vying to be the best. We miss months of school, but our teachers support us the entire way. It's pretty incredible to get to ski all morning and go to school in the afternoon.

I enjoyed my tim here and learned a lot. The school allowed me to pursue my skiing passion and i had a wonderful time doing so. Skiing sometimes ate into my academic success but over all it was a good school.

Overall I think VSSA is an amazing place to develop academically and athletically. They have supported me through all my athletic endeavors and most importantly, I have been developed academically and prepared for a college level education.

As a former teacher at this school, I can't express my frustration enough. A 90% white high income school in a district that's over 50% Latino and 50% Free Reduced Lunch, seems like a private or charter school right? VSSA is an amazing school that educates every kid not only in academics, but prepares them for real world experiences.
