The best parts of my experience were the football games because of how everyone have school spirit. I don't have any worst parts of my high school experience I loved every bit.

My experience at Valdosta High School was okay. I didn't have many classes due to me having done the majority in my early high school years. Some of the teachers and staff are pretty good at their jobs while others aren't. The school has great spirits but they don't get the students as active as they should.

I would like to change some of the students attitudes. There are a lot of students in lower class families. And most of those students have less self control, less respectful, and many of the boys are wanna-be-thugs. I wish these students would see a better world and try and lead away from it. But at the same time there is a great amount that try their best to get further than their parents ever had and they try. The school gives many opportunities to get your grades back up and to help you graduate.

Joining the AVID program was one of the best experiences I could have ever experienced. AVID prepares you for college as well as help you succeed during HS. I would definitely recommend AVID to all students.

I have a daughter in the IB Program at VHS. I'm very pleased with the program and thrilled that we are one of the handful of schools offering this in the state of Georgia. We are excited about the brand new school opening in August 2018.
