The good parts of this high school is that it's small compared to the others around me so there can be a lot of 1:1 help if needed. Also, the atmosphere is nice, I have yet to see anybody get bullied. The bad is it's expensive to do any sport or arts program, they charge for everything.

I'd say this is a pretty solid school. Since it's a smaller school it has it's pros and cons. You can get really close with teachers and **sometimes** with other students, but they don't offer a lot of classes at this time. They didn't have AP art which sucked. Nor they have classes that I'm totally interested in, but at least they have an assortment to choose from. You can do online, also attend Aims classes or get UNC credits which is transferable. From my experience there's like absolutely no bullying but drama of course. School lunches are OK, very meh. Some students are more favored by staff. Not to forget very low number of staff. Many left. They have some sports, but no golf/tennis/girls wrestling/boys volleyball. Lastly, I wished that it wasn't as boring, and that we could be involved in dressing up for halloween, seniors painting their own parking space, decorating caps, or just fun stuff like that. To conclude, the building is nice & very safe, so a pretty ok school.

It is a nice community being so far out but to be completely honest, the staff is under qualified as we have switches all the time and tons of reoccurring substitutes. I would say myself three stars is a proper rating simply because of the familiar faces and nice community.
