Dr.Scott Comis Is an Amazing Principal, And His Staff is Also Amazing. If your Child go to this School Trust the Whole Staff is Hands On. If your Child is Failing you Will be Notified immediately and Your Child Will be Helped immediately, You will see your Child Grade go from a C,D,F to an A . I really Miss the Teacher's, The Principal Thank you Dr.Scott Comis My Daughter Maliah Barbary is an Honored Student Because of you and Your Staff. She is in the Gifted and Talented Program in 7th Grade Because of Dr. Scott Comis, And His Awesome Teachers

The social scene at Brooklyn Ave school is great. They provide counseling to students and if parents have any issue they can e-mail or call the teachers so issues can be resolved. I think the school has teacher that really care for the students and their sucess as individuals and academically. The school help students to get involved in different clubs like art, math and sports.

This is an amazing school. My daughter graduated last year and my son still goes here. Never have I seen such an involved principal. As an educator myself, I wish our principal was as amazing as Dr. Comis. Teachers and staff go over and beyond for all the students.

I am very disappointed at the fact that my son, a fourth grader with all A's cannot get into any clubs at the school. ... I feel the reason why is because he's a new student. This is my son's 3rd year at BAS and its been all very positive. So far all the teachers he has encountered are on top of their game and are all very caring. The principal is very involved and its apparent he wants the school to thrive and be a safe haven for our children. Most parents are involved...

What a great school. M daughter attended Brooklyn Avenue School. The level of education that they are receiving surpass state standards. They are receiving a top notch education. I felt very comfortable when I leave her in the care of the staff. I think the Father / Daughter Dance is an excellent id...
