I have been attending Valley Stream Christian Acadmey for all four of my high schools years. It is an amazing school that helps you grow academically and spiritually. Getting youe education from teachers who share the same Christian faith and values helps you connect on different levels. Valley Stream Christian Academy is such a great school that strives for success not only with students academics but their emotional and spiritual health. It is a safe environment where kids are free to talk and learn about Christianity. The staff is amazing!!!

Teachers work with students to help them get a better understanding of the work. Some teachers offer afterschool help/tutoring, but not really one-on-one, unless it is necessary. All the teachers strive to see all their students excel and pass their class.

This is a small school, you cannot dissappear into the woodwork here! That is what I like about it. The teachers all know you well, and each grade level can interact well with each other. My friends are all here, and I do feel that the administration cares for all of us. I love that we have chapel, and can openly pray and worship. We even have a prayer team, that is student lead and we pray for eachother and for the needs around us. Our superintendant likes to do fun things for us, like crazy head day, spirit week, and even a high school formal that the whole high school can go to! It is a privilege to go here, and although I get frustrated with the rules sometimes, I don't think I would want to go anywhere else!

I have been going to this school for a long time and learned a lot in the beginning but the school has on a downward spiral when they started hiring teachers with no experience, no license, and that do not know how to teach children.
