My experience at South has been quite the journey. The best parts were being extremely culturally involved and taking such leadership in these programs or student government. South High School offers many clubs and extra-curricular programs which made me feel accepted and involved. The worst part of South High School may just be some of the bullying that occurs within school and on social media. I'd hope to continue seeing students participate in clubs and sports whilst staying away from negative circumstances.

South High School is a great public school that offers a variety of different paths for students to take. The culture here is very welcoming and the general population is very diverse. There are all types of students here so its very easy to make friends. The teachers are for he most part great and seem to really care about the students.

This is an amazing school with a lot of resources to help students do their best. The Valley Stream District spends a lot of resources to make sure students are guaranteed to succussed with good food, energetic teachers, and money spent to make the school as good as possible.

Overall, above average because most, though not all, of the teachers my son has had have been effective and motivational. He doesn't always feel that he is being treated fairly, but he has been able to navigate his way and have some positive experiences, nonetheless.

Certain Teachers should be replaced and certainly the Principle should be replaced. There is no need for Trump ruling in schools. All kids should be treated with fairness and respect. Also if a student is misbehaving then they should notify the parents

The school is well organized, the teachers are caring. They offer so many clubs and extra curricular activities, it's wonderful. A great sports program. They also hold wonderful events for parents to attend. I would like to see more opportunities for parents to get involved and better communication...
