GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Valmeyer High School is a small school, which I like. The reason I like going to a small school is because everyone knows everyone, and everyone feels included. With a small school, there a positives and there are negatives. A negative about going to Valmeyer is that there is not much options for classes. There are your main classes, but going here and not being able to explore, I have no idea what I want to do when I graduate high school.

I did not have a bad experience, but the school is definitely lacking some important parts. Diversity is zero, and everything is very niche. Parents are rude and manipulate when being involved, especially in music and theatre.

Valmeyer High School is a great community school in a small and safe town. The academics, diversity, teachers, and college readiness are all great aspects in the high school life at VHS.
