Overall my experience at Valparaiso High School has been very positive. I love the teachers, the academics, and the athletics. There is so much dedication from the staff to make the students feel comfortable.

Honestly it's a pretty great school I mean besides that fact that it's a school in general so of course I don't want to be there but when you compare to other places it's actually really nice. It has a lot of class options and resources to help figure out what you want to do for a career. I do think they could be more active with seniors about college cause overall if you don't request a meeting there's only like 2 check ups and I don't really know how to apply for any of this stuff or what it means. So overall it's a really nice school it's safe environment and has good resources I just recommend more hands on involvement for the seniors because not everyone is willing to reach out on their own when they're confused.

Valparaiso High School is a good school. It offers many different and unique classes in a wide variety of subjects. The teachers are passionate, and the staff members are friendly. However, I am not a fan of how the budget is distributed between sports teams and music/art programs. I would like to see the school put more funding into the music and art programs so the students have the resources and tools they need to achieve high levels of success.

I think I overall enjoyed all four years of my time at this school. The lunch could be better. I had a ton of great teachers throughout the years and avoided the few bad ones who I can't name here, but seriously a ton of the teachers are super nice and cool if you get to know them. I went to four school districts in my lifetime and this was by far the most balanced education I received. I felt the teachers cared and the ability to get involved in whatever you wanted was unmatched. The school is beautiful with a ton of great amenities.
