I moved to Van Meter near the end of my sophomore year and was very welcomed by everyone there. It was hard adjusting to a small school, but the people made it easier for me.

My boys both graduated from Van Meter schools, and although both were very different academically, the school was good for both of them and provided a good education. They are both still close to their classmates and keep in touch with some of their teachers.

Van Meter is a growing district with more than 100 open enrolled students because of the technology and engaged instructors. We moved our family there from a very large district - our 7th grader with a school issued Mac Book can make powerpoints on any topic and Skype with students in Hong Kong abou...
